Big thanks to Jon for re-vamping the LMA front page. it loads super fast now, and reducing the posts from 100 to 50 also speeds things. Thanks jon!

But i was curious if we could bring back the 'Recent posts' box on the left hand side of the main LMA page. It was removed, you said because you felt it was redundant since the same thing was done on the main archive.org page.

http://www.archive.org/iathreads/post-view.php?id=7648

but i'm not sure what everyone else does. Myself, i rarely if ever look at the main www.archive.org page and have bookmakred the direct link to the LMA. I liked scrolling down slightly to that recent posts box and seeing what posts were made, rather then scrolling all the way down, looking for bolded titles.

I definately used that aspect of the page, and i feel bringing it back wouldn't slow the page's loading significantly.

What are other's thoughts on bringing it back? for or against? i'd vote for For bringing it back. **crosses fingers** :)

Okay, since quite a few of you have asked for it, it's back. Again, I just removed it because I assumed no one was using it. I'm glad to see that I was wrong :)
